The Moberly Regional Health Foundation has available, area scholarships for graduating seniors of Randolph County. Applications can be picked up at the respective schools. There is also a scholarship for the Vocational Technical program and for non-graduating seniors. Students must reside in, or be attending school in Randolph County and be majoring in a health care or related occupation in order to be eligible. In addition to the above mentioned scholarships, the Moberly Regional Health Foundation also has three nursing scholarships through Moberly Area Community College and gives out the Lois Massman Award each year.

The intent of the scholarship program is for the funds to be used for tuition and books. If a recipient has other sources of funding, the Health Foundation could re-award the scholarship to another student. The Moberly Regional Health Foundation's Scholarship Program was expanded in 1996 to offer support to worthy students majoring in the health care field. A total of $10,000 was approved for the scholarship program with funds to be raised by general appeals and to come from the Foundation's general revenue.

In addition to the Moberly Regional Health Foundation Scholarship Program, the Health Foundation oversees the newly founded, Will Ben Sims Memorial Scholarship. Applications for the Will Ben Sims Memorial Scholarship can be obtained at Little Dixie Regional Library, City Bank in Moberly and Chariton County Bank in Brunswick or by contacting the Will Ben Sims Memorial Scholarship program, Attn: Karen Wright, P.O.
